Job Requirements

  • High school graduate preferred
  • graduate of approved culinary program preferred
  • ability to read interpret and expand recipes
  • one year of experience in food production with responsibility for cooking
  • ability to work under supervision from chef manager or designee
  • willingness to work in environments with exposure to heat and cold
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely
  • able to stand for entire shifts
  • able to bend stretch and handle kitchen equipment safely

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • graduation from an approved culinary program preferred
  • at least one year of experience in a food production environment
  • ability to read and interpret recipes accurately
  • experience with food portioning and seasoning techniques
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • capable of working in a fast-paced kitchen setting

Job Duties

  • Plan prepare season portion and cook food following approved recipes and production sheets
  • ensure quality and freshness of all food items
