The role of Production Runner at Bayou Music Center is a crucial backstage position within Live Nation's US Concerts team. This role involves supporting the smooth operation of live shows by carrying out a wide range of errands and tasks essential to talent and production requirements. High confidentiality and professionalism are fundamental to this position, as the Production Runner coordinates and delivers food and beverage to artists, retrieves and delivers equipment and paperwork, and maintains the cleanliness and organization of backstage and stage areas to ensure a seamless production environment. Additional responsibilities include helping with show pass and guest list distribution and assisting the Production Coordinator with any artist needs that arise during performances.
This role demands excellent multitasking abilities within a fast-paced and often high-pressure environment while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor. The Production Runner is expected to be highly knowledgeable of all music, promotional, or special events taking place at the venue. Flexibility to work late and extended hours is required, as well as a strong understanding of the local area, including nearby restaurants, stores, and music-related venues. The physically demanding nature of this role includes prolonged standing and the ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds safely. Candidates must have a reliable vehicle, proof of insurance, and an impeccable driving record.

Job Duties
- Coordinate and deliver food and beverage to the band or talent
- retrieve and deliver equipment, paperwork, etc.
- ensure stage and backstage areas are clean and free of clutter
- assist with any other aspect of stage production, such as show pass and guest list distribution
- assist Production Coordinator with any needs of the artist
- perform opening, running, and closing side duties according to company practice and policy
- have knowledge of all music, promotional or special events in the house
- handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining pleasant and professional at all times
