Pacific Supply is a well-established distributor of building products with a proud history dating back to 1953. With over 50 locations spread throughout the Western United States, Pacific Supply has been committed to serving the needs of the construction industry and the communities within which it operates. The company has built a strong reputation for reliability, quality service, and a deep understanding of the building products market. Their extensive network of locations enables them to effectively and efficiently serve a wide range of customers, from large commercial construction projects to local contractors and individual builders, ensuring access to essential building materials when and where they are needed most.
Pacific Supply places a high value on its employees, recognizing them as the most valuable resource and integral to the overall success of the organization. The company’s culture is centered on attracting and retaining high-quality candidates, fostering employee development, and supporting career growth. They believe that investing in their workforce is fundamental to sustained growth and competitive advantage in the building products distribution sector.
We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Production Manager to join the Pacific Supply team. This role is key to ensuring the efficient operation of shipments and receiving processes across one of our busy branches. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily handling and movement of materials, maintaining timely deliveries, and ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable and economical service. This position is perfect for a professional with a background in management within the building products industry who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The Production Manager will supervise yard personnel and coordinate the loading of trucks by providing detailed load lists and delivery sequences. A critical function within this role lies in pre-staging daily loads and planning upcoming schedules to optimize truck turnaround times, particularly focusing on second and third run deliveries to maintain smooth logistics operations. The role also encompasses conducting and supervising accurate cycle counts and physical inventories, coupled with comprehensive reporting to maintain inventory integrity and support operational decision-making. The Production Manager ensures that purchases and receipts of materials meet company standards and comply with established procedures.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 per year, reflecting the importance and responsibility of the role. Pacific Supply offers a robust benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with matching contributions, profit sharing, flexible spending accounts, paid vacation and sick leave, life insurance, and wellness programs. We foster an inclusive work environment that promotes equal opportunity and a drug-free workplace. This role requires an individual who values teamwork, communication, and operational excellence to continue supporting Pacific Supply's mission of serving the construction industry with dedication and expertise.
