The opportunity at hand is for the position of Die Cutting & Finishing Lead Person, a critical leadership role within the production area specializing in die cutting and finishing operations. This role supports all facets of the die cutting and finishing area production, providing day-to-day direction to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes. The Lead Person is responsible for supervising the team, monitoring production schedules, maintaining quality standards, and fostering communication across shifts and departments.

The position operates on a 2pm to 10pm shift from Monday to Friday, underscoring a commitment to leadership during critical production hours. The individual in this role is expected to champion safety protocols, deliver coaching and feedback to employees, coordinate with other leaders for manufacturing and quality decisions, and actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives. Their leadership directly influences productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction, making it essential to ensure production goals are met without compromising safety or quality.

This is a safety-sensitive role requiring the Lead Person to maintain constant alertness and operate in a safe manner. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts if necessary. Effective communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems are essential for managing schedules, production orders, and quality responses. The role also demands collaboration with peers and cross-functional teams to address quality complaints, improve processes, and ensure seamless communication within the department.
