Job Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience working as a cook in a commercial kitchen recommended
  • ServSafe Certification and California Food Handler card required within 30 days post-hire
  • ability to stand continuously and carry 11-50+ pounds
  • ability to work nights and weekends
  • must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Prepares seasonal and delicious menu items that meet and exceed guest expectations
  • cooks menu offerings following recipes, cut specifications, and packaging standards
  • works directly with the Sous Chef and supervisors to execute daily priorities
  • regularly tastes products to ensure high standards of quality, flavor, and freshness
  • ensures all products received/delivered are accurate according to specifications
  • puts away inventory with proper rotation and accurate labeling following food safety practices
  • handles damaged, out-of-date, spoils, and returned products to department standards
  • follows all food safety and sanitation practices
