Sherwin-Williams is currently hiring a Corporate Process Safety Manager to join their global team. This remote role involves working closely with the Global Director of Process Safety to lead process safety strategy implementation across international operations. The position is responsible for strengthening the Process Safety Management (PSM) System by advancing best practices, reducing operational risks, ensuring compliance, and fostering continuous improvement throughout Sherwin-Williams’ facilities worldwide. This role is vital in promoting a safety culture that aligns with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.

As a Corporate Process Safety Manager, you will play a critical role as a trusted partner to site leadership and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, risk management, and environmental health & safety teams. Your expertise will support the deployment of process safety technologies, hazard-assessment tools, and management systems at sites globally. This position demands a strategic vision combined with strong technical knowledge to consult on specialized chemical processes such as resin manufacturing, electrostatic hazard control, emergency vent sizing, dust collection, inerting strategies, and safe processing of reactive materials like fumed silica and organic peroxides.

In addition to developing and sustaining global process safety programs, you will lead risk reduction initiatives targeting injury prevention, exposure control, and property protection. You will provide guidance on advanced process hazard analysis techniques like HAZOP, What-If analysis, and facilitate PHA closure and audit activities. Your role also involves coaching and mentoring EHS professionals, managing high-stress situations including serious incident investigations, and ensuring adherence to regulations from agencies such as OSHA and EPA as well as international compliance standards.
