Known for creating engaging environments, Brookdale hosts regular events and gatherings that foster meaningful connections among residents, helping to build a vibrant and supportive community. The company's extensive corporate support and robust training programs create ample opportunities for personal and professional growth, especially for those pursuing a career in sales and senior care services. Brookdale is also recognized for its commitment to workplace diversity, earning accolades from Newsweek in both 2024 and 2025 as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity.
The Receptionist role at Brookdale is a front-facing position that plays a critical part in delivering excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors. This position involves greeting all visitors entering the community, providing assistance by answering questions, and ensuring proper visitor protocols such as signing guest sheets are followed. Receptionists also handle incoming and outgoing mail for both the community and residents and may be tasked with basic office and clerical functions including maintaining visitor logs and directing phone calls to appropriate residents and staff members. A key aspect of the role includes responding to resident emergencies by contacting appropriate internal and external parties in accordance with community protocols.
This role offers working opportunities in both part-time and full-time capacities, with competitive base pay determined by the applicant’s skills and experience. Brookdale supports its employees with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, paid holidays, and more depending on employment status. The company promotes an inclusive and drug-free workplace, encouraging veterans, military personnel, and military spouses to apply. Brookdale further supports employees on their journey to citizenship by offering to cover naturalization application costs under qualifying conditions.
Choosing a Receptionist position at Brookdale means embracing a work environment centered on respect, community, and opportunity. You will be more than just a team member; you will be part of a caring organization that values professional development, health, wellness, and diversity.
