The Private Executive Chef role is a critical part of the estate’s lifestyle, tasked with delivering customized meals that suit the dietary needs and preferences of the principal and their guests. This includes preparing daily meals for the household as well as special holiday meals, dinner parties, and business functions hosting up to 20 guests.
The chef’s expertise will extend beyond routine meal preparation to include planning weekly and daily menus, coordinating ingredient procurement from local farmers’ markets and vendors, ensuring meal quality and food safety, and maintaining kitchen efficiency. The ideal candidate will be skilled in various culinary disciplines, including accommodating dietary restrictions such as gluten-free, vegan, paleo, keto, and other specialized diets. Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for seasonally-inspired dishes using fresh and organic products are essential.
Additional expectations include maintaining discretion and professionalism at all times, flexibility to accommodate last-minute changes, and the ability to travel with the principal between the primary residence in Cleveland, OH, and the secondary residence in Foxburg, PA. Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a private chef or in fine dining establishments
- Food Safety Certification required
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and uphold client confidentiality
- Valid driver’s license and clean background check (if applicable)
- Reside within commuting distance of Northeast Ohio or Western Pennsylvania and ability to travel to Cleveland, OH and Foxburg, PA

Job Duties
- Plan weekly and daily menus tailored to the principal's preferences and dietary requirements
- Shop for high-quality, organic, and seasonal ingredients or coordinate with vendors and farmers' markets
- Prepare and serve fresh, healthy, and visually pleasing meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and juices
- Handle meal prep and storage while ensuring freshness and food safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
- Manage and shop for inventory, pantry, and kitchen supplies
- Coordinate meals for special events, holidays, and entertaining guests
- Source high-quality ingredients, supplementing greenhouse produce with items from local farmers markets or specialty stores
- Accommodate last-minute schedule changes and travel with the principal as needed (optional)
