The Assistant Manager plays a key role in ensuring client satisfaction by overseeing every aspect of the private event process. Responsibilities include qualifying event inquiries, developing detailed proposals, securing contracts, coordinating complex logistics, and serving as the on-site captain to ensure the smooth running of all events.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience in sales or event coordination within hospitality or a related industry, be comfortable working with CRM and event management tools like TripleSeat, and thrive in fast-paced, high-volume settings. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to bring client visions to life, ensuring seamless logistics including venue bookings, catering arrangements, audio-visual setups, client interactions, and event signage. On event days, you will act as the primary point of contact, liaising between the client, banquet captain, and culinary team to guarantee successful outcomes.

Edison House is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace and encourages candidates of all backgrounds to apply, even if they do not meet every single qualification listed. Employment with Edison House offers a unique opportunity to be part of a beloved community hub in Salt Lake City, contributing to memorable events and exceptional guest experiences.
