The role of Private Event Sales Manager at Montage International is a vital position responsible for orchestrating unforgettable and seamless private dining experiences. This position is integral to the company’s mission to deliver luxury hospitality through attentive, personalized service that exceeds guest expectations. The manager will take charge of the sales, planning, and execution of all private dining events, collaborating closely with culinary teams and outlet managers to design bespoke menus and experiences tailored to guests’ needs and preferences. The Private Event Sales Manager ensures every event reflects the high standards synonymous with the Montage brand.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in luxury hospitality, particularly in private dining, banquets, or fine dining service. This leadership role demands excellent communication and organizational skills, a deep knowledge of food, wine, and beverage offerings, and a passion for crafting memorable guest interactions. The position includes overseeing the event from preparation to post-event follow-up, managing service flow, and addressing guest satisfaction promptly and professionally.
Employees in this role will also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control efforts related to private dining operations. The Private Event Sales Manager will be eligible for the Montage International Sales Incentive Plan, providing opportunities to earn quarterly and annual bonuses dependent on performance. This role requires flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business demands and ensure flawless event execution.
The offered salary for this position ranges from $70,300 to $85,000 as a base pay, exclusive of commissions and incentives, reflecting the company’s commitment to competitive compensation within the luxury hospitality sector. Job Qualifications
- minimum of 3 years of experience in luxury hospitality, preferably with a focus on private dining, banquets, or fine dining service

Job Duties
- lead the sales, planning, execution of all private dining events, ensuring flawless service from pre-event preparation through post-event follow-up
- partner with outlet and culinary teams to design menus and experiences tailored to guest preferences and event goals
- develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, ensuring opportunities to provide personalized touches that elevate the dining experience for every event
- oversee setup, service flow, and breakdown of all private dining events in partnership with the appropriate outlet
- monitor guest satisfaction and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
- maintain strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage offerings to provide guidance and recommendations to guests
- ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control related to private dining operations
