Job Description

The Private Event Manager is a pivotal part of the Food and Beverage (F&B) management team within a prestigious hospitality setting. This role is crafted for an experienced professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about delivering exceptional event experiences. The establishment, known for hosting a wide range of private functions such as weddings, corporate events, golf tournaments, and other exclusive gatherings, aims to provide not only flawless service but also unforgettable memories for its members and guests. The company prides itself on maintaining high standards across all departments and venues, ensuring that every event is executed with precision and attention to detail. As a Private Event Manager, you will be entrusted with coordinating all event facets, overseeing a dedicated banquet manager, and managing a team that includes event coordinators, captains, and full- and part-time banquet staff. Your leadership will ensure the seamless delivery of events, fostering collaboration between the culinary team and service staff to meet the highest quality standards.

This role demands a dynamic leader capable of balancing sales, planning, and operational execution. Your responsibilities will include working closely with clients to design room layouts, select menus, and create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) that capture every necessary detail. The role also emphasizes cultivating a safe, clean, and energetic work environment aligned with MGC guidelines.

Leadership abilities are central to the position; you are expected to provide your team with the tools and training necessary to excel in every event. Monitoring staff performance, maintaining professional appearances, and leading by example are critical facets of your daily duties. Staffing and training decisions, event coverage, and direct supervision form the backbone of your leadership responsibilities. Additionally, you will actively contribute to hands-on event execution, employee training, and broader club initiatives, showcasing a willingness to step in wherever needed to guarantee the success of the team and the satisfaction of the guests. This is a compelling opportunity for a results-driven individual who enjoys multi-tasking and is committed to excellence in the private events industry.
