The primary responsibility of the Private Duty Nurse at Interim HealthCare is to provide in-home, direct patient care according to the prescribed plan of care and nursing scope of practice. This involves assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs and recovery progress. The role demands meticulous documentation of patient care activities, condition changes, and treatments to ensure accurate and up-to-date medical records. Additionally, the Private Duty Nurse plays a vital role in wound care management, assistance with personal hygiene, and prevention and treatment of infections, bedsores, and other complications.
