Job Description
Concierge Nursing Referral Services, a distinguished branch of TheKey, is a premier nursing referral company specializing in connecting private duty nurses and therapists with VIP clients seeking exceptional in-home care. Operating with a commitment to personalized, high-quality services, the company focuses exclusively on private pay clients, ensuring that each individual receives undivided attention and customized care tailored to their unique needs. As a top-tier service, they maintain strong partnerships with experienced clinicians, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapy Assistants, among others. This approach enables Concierge Nursing Referral Services to offer flexible and reliable care solutions ranging from short visits of up to two hours to comprehensive hourly shifts lasting between eight to twelve hours, available on both a per diem and long-term basis.
The role offered is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position based in Texas that presents an excellent opportunity for nurses who value independence and flexibility. It is a contract, PRN position designed for those seeking private duty work outside of traditional clinical settings. Pay rates start at $35 per hour but vary based on the specific case and are negotiated before commencing each assignment. As a 1099 independent contractor, the LPN has complete control over their schedule and can select cases that best suit their preferences and availability. This role emphasizes one-to-one, in-home patient care, allowing nurses to provide attentive and compassionate care in a more relaxed and personalized environment compared to busy hospitals or clinics.
In this role, the LPN will be responsible for delivering skilled nursing services as prescribed by the client's physician, closely monitoring patient vitals, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and performing wound care. The nurse will also facilitate transportation for clients who need to attend medical appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout. Effective communication is a key component of this role; the nurse is expected to maintain prompt and professional communication with doctors, families, and the agency office to coordinate care and provide updates as necessary. Additionally, the nurse will manage necessary client supplies, including durable medical equipment (DME), wound care supplies, and medications to support optimal healing and wellness in the home setting. Those joining Concierge Nursing Referral Services will find a rewarding role that combines clinical expertise with the opportunity to foster deep, one-on-one connections with clients, ultimately enhancing their quality of life through compassionate care.
