Job Description

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, part of the Marriott International portfolio, is a distinguished luxury hotel brand renowned for its commitment to unparalleled hospitality and bespoke service. Founded in the early twentieth century by John Jacob Astor IV, the brand has upheld a legacy of timeless glamour, sophisticated elegance, and an unwavering dedication to delivering exquisite guest experiences across more than 50 prestigious locations worldwide. Known for blending classic sophistication with modern sensibilities, St. Regis hotels pride themselves on anticipatory service and signature Butler Service that caters meticulously to each guest's needs.

Located at 9703 Collins Ave, Bal Harbour, Florida, this opportunity invites candidates to join a renowned hospitality team in a non-management, full-time Cashier position within the Food and Beverage and Culinary division. This role is grounded in the dynamic environment of private dining services, where excellent communication, attention to detail, cash handling accuracy, and compliance with accounting principles and safety protocols are paramount. As a Cashier, the individual will be responsible for processing various payment methods in accordance with strict property control audit standards and cash handling procedures, including blind drops, bank accuracy checks, and securing contractual monies.

The role involves meticulous organization of the cashier workstation, ensuring all designated supplies, forms, and resource materials are adequately prepared and maintained with a focus on cleanliness and operational readiness. Opening duties include setting up necessary tools and supply areas to guarantee smooth transaction processes throughout shifts. The Cashier is expected to welcome all guests professionally, demonstrate genuine appreciation, and anticipate guest service needs to support the overall luxury experience that St. Regis embodies.

Additionally, the position demands strong adherence to company and safety policies, including reporting any unsafe work conditions, accidents, or injuries to management. Maintaining a clean and professional personal appearance is critically important, as is upholding confidentiality of proprietary company information and protecting company assets. Communication skills are essential, encompassing clear, professional dialogue with guests and team members, as well as proficient telephone etiquette.

The job requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and to safely lift or move objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Candidates will engage actively in nurturing positive work relationships and collaborative teamwork to meet shared goals, reflecting the high standards of quality and service at St. Regis. This role offers an excellent foundation for those beginning their careers in hospitality, with no prior experience or supervisory credentials necessary. The company embraces diversity and is committed to equal opportunity employment, fostering an inclusive environment where varied backgrounds and perspectives are valued.

Joining St. Regis means becoming part of a global team that values excellence, innovation, and personal growth, allowing you to be your best, begin your purpose, belong to an extraordinary community, and become the best version of yourself in the vibrant world of luxury hospitality.
