Job Description
J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., one of the world's oldest and most respected financial institutions, has a distinguished history spanning over 200 years. Renowned for delivering innovative financial solutions, the company serves millions of consumers, small businesses, and a broad array of prominent corporate, institutional, and government clients globally. Operating under the J.P. Morgan and Chase brands, the organization is a leader in various sectors including investment banking, consumer and small business banking, commercial banking, financial transaction processing, and asset management. This longstanding legacy of financial expertise is matched by a strong dedication to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity in the workplace.
The Southern Region Senior Event team at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank plays a pivotal role in orchestrating client event activities from initial concept through to execution and post-event evaluation specifically for the Southern Region. This team works in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment where creativity and strategic thinking are essential. The role involves not only planning and managing local or regional client events but also potentially supporting larger global initiatives that target a diverse international client base. The team collaborates closely with various stakeholders including the global events team, marketing groups, bankers, product partners, and senior management to deliver a consistent, high-caliber client experience that aligns directly with the company’s business strategies.
As an Events Management Senior Associate within the Asset Management Events Team, you will report directly to the Head of South Private Bank Events and be responsible for supporting the South Region by steering event strategy, offering creative input on event concepts, suggesting venues, and curating content. Your responsibilities will range from managing full event life cycles—covering everything from maintaining event calendars and budgets to negotiating with external vendors and producing quality event materials—to managing onsite logistics including registration, presentations, audio-visual needs, and speaker coordination. You will be expected to ensure meticulous data management through RSVP tracking, ROI analysis, and post-event evaluations.
The role demands exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, alongside the ability to problem-solve strategically and provide innovative event solutions. You will also need to keep abreast of new venue opportunities and foster cross-business collaboration within JPMorganChase to maximize resource sharing and event impact. Regular participation in regional meetings, budget calls, and interactions with bankers ensures thorough communication and alignment on event objectives.
J.P. Morgan Chase offers competitive compensation that reflects your skills, experience, and the role's responsibilities. Eligible employees may receive commission-based pay and discretionary incentives rewarded through cash or equity, recognizing individual achievements. Comprehensive benefits programs support employee health, wellness, retirement planning, and professional growth. These benefits, alongside the company's commitment to diversity and inclusion, make J.P. Morgan Chase a desirable and supportive workplace for professionals in event management and beyond.
