The role available at Living Montessori is that of a Head Preschool Chef, also referred to as a Food Service Manager. This position is centered on managing the school kitchen's operations to provide healthy and nutritious meals and snacks to preschool students. The Food Service Manager is responsible for the overall safety, cleanliness, and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all food preparation meets the highest standards of sanitation. Key responsibilities include menu creation, food ordering, inventory management, and compliance with health department inspections. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety regulations and nutrition, as well as the ability to effectively manage kitchen operations independently.
