This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $19.00 to $25.40, commensurate with experience, along with access to a comprehensive range of benefits under the “Whole Benefits” program. The role focuses on performing all duties related to dishwashing and maintaining the overall cleanliness in the kitchen area to meet Whole Foods Market’s rigorous sanitary and safety standards. As part of the Retail Team, employees ensure that all tasks are done with courtesy, efficiency, and professionalism to uphold a positive company image at all times. The position requires collaboration across various departments, supporting regional and store initiatives, and compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety requirements.

Duties include washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares; maintaining cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves; assisting with kitchen deliveries by properly storing, organizing, and rotating products; and performing opening, mid, and closing duties. The job also encompasses customer service responsibilities such as addressing customer needs promptly, answering phones courteously, and utilizing suggestive selling techniques when appropriate.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong passion for cleanliness, effective communication skills, and a cooperative team spirit. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions including wet, dry, cold, and warm settings. The position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed and familiarity with tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and ladders.
