This commitment resonates throughout every store, ensuring that each team member contributes to this transformative mission. The company fosters a positive working environment where personal growth is highly valued, encouraging employees to develop their skills, take greater responsibilities, and grow alongside the organization. Additionally, the Assistant Team Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive store image by delivering courteous and efficient service to both customers and team members in accordance with Whole Foods Market's core values and operational standards. Adaptability and strong interpersonal skills are vital, as the Assistant Team Leader may serve as the point person and be required to fulfill the Team Leader’s responsibilities in their absence. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational applications, along with the ability to manage operational data and communicate effectively with team members and customers. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is essential, alongside the physical capability to meet the demands of the retail environment such as lifting heavy items and working in various temperature conditions. This position offers an hourly wage range of $20.05 to $35.00, commensurate with experience, and includes access to Whole Benefits, providing a comprehensive package of health support, paid time off, store discounts, and other employee perks.
