This role also demands the use of digital tools and handheld technology for real-time decision-making to boost sales and improve operational efficiency. The Department Lead takes ownership of business results by ensuring proper staffing, maintaining clean and safe work environments, and overseeing merchandising according to store standards. They act as a talent ambassador by identifying training needs, mentoring associates, and helping to cultivate career growth within their team.
The position offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $23.00 to $31.00, with additional premium pay available based on specific work circumstances such as schedule, location, and season. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision), financial rewards like 401(k) plans and stock purchase options, paid time off including parental and family care leave, and other valuable perks such as military leave pay and adoption expense reimbursement. Full-time and part-time associates also have access to the Live Better U education program, which fully funds tuition, books, and fees for various academic and certification programs.
