Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 1 year experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
- Passion for cooking and food quality

- Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Follow prep lists created by chefs
- Label and stock all cooking ingredients
- Complete all tasks in order on the prep list from the Head Chef or kitchen manager
- Wash, chop, and sort ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and meats
- Measure quantities of seasonings and cooking ingredients
- Adhere to nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards
- Keep track of ingredient inventory and collaborate with kitchen and management staff to order resupply
- Learn about cooking methods and techniques employed in the kitchen
- Ensure food items are properly stored and easily accessible
- Supervise food and cooling room temperatures
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen
- Assist chefs in preparing food and attend to culinary tasks
- Execute cooking techniques under the direction of the Sous Chef and Executive Chef
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
- Ensure correctness of appliance and food temperatures
- Set up and break down workstations
- Wash and disinfect kitchen tools, knives, and equipment
- Follow company safety and security policies
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations
- Care for and maintain dish machine
- Keep clean supply of dishware, glassware, silverware, utensils, and cookware
- Thrive in fast-paced environment while adhering to cleanliness and sanitation standards
