Job Description

Marbled & Fin is a vibrant and expanding hospitality-driven restaurant group known for its modern take on the classic steakhouse experience. Originating from its celebrated roots in Charleston, Marbled & Fin has established itself as a premier dining destination that combines a lively atmosphere with polished service, premium cuts of beef, high-quality seafood, and an extensive wine and spirits collection. The restaurant prides itself on creating a dynamic and welcoming environment suitable for everyday dining as well as special celebrations. As part of the Neighborhood Dining Group portfolio, which includes renowned establishments such as Husk, Delaney Oyster House, Minero, and The James, Marbled & Fin is dedicated to excellence in both food and service. The Savannah location marks the brand's exciting expansion, offering a new stage for culinary professionals looking to join a respected and innovative team.

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Prep Cook/Butcher to join our growing team in downtown Savannah. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of bringing this exciting restaurant to life, contributing to a high-energy kitchen that values precision, quality, and artistry in its culinary practices. The role is designed for individuals who are comfortable multitasking in a busy kitchen environment and who possess a strong ability to prioritize their responsibilities effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience with large-scale food production, refined plating techniques, and specialized expertise in butchery for both meat and seafood. The Prep Cook/Butcher will play a crucial role in execution by expertly butchering whole animals, primal cuts, and fish to meet the precise needs of the menu, while consistently upholding stringent safety, cleanliness, and HACCP standards.

Beyond butchery, the candidate will assist with inventory management, ordering, and provide sourcing guidance to ensure operational excellence. Attention to detail in portion control and yield optimization will be essential to minimize waste and maintain the restaurant's commitment to quality and sustainability. This position demands a team-oriented professional with clear communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a deep passion for ingredient integrity and classical culinary techniques. Prospective applicants should bring at least one year of butchery experience, ideally within fine dining or whole-animal operations. Experience with a broad range of cutting tools and equipment such as knives and saws is highly desirable.

Marbled & Fin offers a dynamic and growth-oriented workplace with considerable earning potential. This full-time role includes competitive salary ranges from $35,000 to $45,000 annually, depending on experience and skill level. Employees benefit from comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, along with a 401(k) plan featuring employer match. Paid Time Off (PTO) is provided to full-time team members, as well as access to employer-paid mental health resources including therapy and coaching through Modern Health. Additional perks include next-day pay, employee discounts, and participation in company wellness programs.

Joining Marbled & Fin means becoming part of a restaurant group that prioritizes passion for culinary arts, professionalism, and collaborative teamwork. It is an outstanding career move for those eager to advance their culinary career in an inspiring and supportive environment that celebrates both innovation and tradition.
