Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in food service or hospitality field
- Food handler's card may be required according to local and state regulations
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to use manual dexterity to cut and chop food
- Ability to work in hot and cold kitchen conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Culinary degree (2 or 4 year) preferred but not required
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in food service or hospitality field
- Ability to understand and execute recipes in English
- Strong listening skills to follow directions
- Clear communication skills with coworkers
- Basic math and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Follow clear direction in food preparation and storing
- Clearly label and date all prepped items especially those stored for later use
- Ensure that all food properly prepared for use by the line cooks
- Chop vegetables and break down stations
- Cut meat
- Weigh and mix ingredients
- Wash and prepare vegetables
- Store food properly
