Delaware North is currently hiring seasonal Prep Cooks to join their culinary team at Progressive Field. This role is suited for individuals who flourish in fast-paced environments and enjoy handling multiple orders simultaneously. The Prep Cook position focuses on preparing food to specification before and during operations while ensuring adherence to quality standards and departmental policies. Team members in this role will be responsible for proper food portioning, labeling, and wrapping according to ServSafe procedures, maintaining kitchen sanitation, and upholding health and safety regulations. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $13.00 to $18.00, reflecting the importance of the role in supporting the culinary operation at the venue.

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to specifications before and during unit operations, complying with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, and label, date, and wrap food products in accordance with ServSafe procedures
  • Communicate with the chef for any instructions or training
  • Uphold all health codes and sanitation regulations and follow all safety, security, and kitchen procedures
  • Maintain food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory in accordance with guidelines
