The dining services at the school are carefully managed to offer balanced, nutritious, and appetizing meals across the academic year as well as during the summer months. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The Prep Cook plays a crucial role in the daily operation of meal preparation by assisting in preparing ingredients and supporting the kitchen staff in various food preparation tasks. This position is key to maintaining the flow and efficiency in meal service, ensuring that all components for nutritious and tasty meals are ready and available on time. The position offers a structured schedule that runs from Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. during the academic year, and slightly adjusted hours during the summer work period from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. This role is expected to begin in early August, providing a consistent work schedule that allows for a work-life balance. The role demands attention to hygiene standards, teamwork, promptness, and a passion for preparing quality food that meets the dietary needs of a school community. Job Requirements
