Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in food service or hospitality field
- Ability to use manual dexterity to cut and chop food
- Be able to stand for the entirety of a scheduled shift
- Be able to work in hot and cold conditions
- Food handler's card may be required according to local or state regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Culinary degree preferred but not required
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in food service or hospitality
- Strong listening skills to understand directions
- Clear communication skills
- Basic math and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and execute recipes in English
Job Duties
- Follow clear direction in food preparation and storing
- Clearly label and date all prepped items especially those stored for later use
- Ensure that all food is properly prepared for use by the line cooks
- Chop vegetables and prepare ingredients as needed
- Break down stations and assist in food storage
- Cut meat according to specifications
- Weigh and mix ingredients accurately
