Job Description

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is a renowned family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept that was founded in Glendale, California, in 1983. Since its inception, Panda Restaurant Group has grown significantly to become the largest family-owned Asian dining concept in the United States, with close to 2,800 locations worldwide. The company is committed to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences while fostering an organizational culture that inspires team members to improve their lives. This dedication to both quality and people-centered values reflects in their continued success and strong community involvement. With a rich history rooted in family values, Panda Restaurant Group stands out as an employer that cherishes diversity, equality, and inclusive growth.

This fall, Panda Restaurant Group is excited to launch an innovative multi-concept venue located on the iconic Las Vegas Strip. This unique establishment will bring together beloved brands under one roof, featuring a Whataburger, Parry’s Pizzeria & TapHouse, and the Whiskey Union Bourbon Bar situated on the mezzanine level. By combining these distinct dining concepts, the venue aims to provide guests with an extraordinary variety of craveably crafted food and beverages, creating a dynamic and energetic dining atmosphere. This complex will be a prime destination for locals and tourists seeking high-quality, flavorful, and unique culinary experiences, served with friendly and attentive service.

The company is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals with positive attitudes and a passion for hospitality to join their team. The roles offered involve working in a fast-paced, busy restaurant environment, ensuring consistent hours and offering flexible scheduling options. This is an opportunity for candidates to earn a competitive wage ranging from $12 to $16.80 per hour, determined by factors such as experience and location. Employees will become part of a team that prides itself on delivering uncommon hospitality characterized by warmth, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.

The position involves preparing both hot and cold dishes from scratch, following strict recipes to maintain quality and consistency. Daily tasks include preparing dough, salad mixes, dressings, and toppings, all made fresh to guarantee the best taste and presentation. Employees must understand portion sizes and meet specific expectations for taste and appearance. Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen is paramount, along with using industry-leading sanitation practices. Effective communication and teamwork are essential to thrive during high-volume shifts in a challenging and dynamic environment. This role not only offers hands-on paid training to set employees up for success but also provides ongoing career development and leadership opportunities, including pathways to management roles.

Moreover, Panda Restaurant Group emphasizes its commitment to employee well-being and provides a comprehensive benefits package that supports health, financial security, and work-life balance. Full-time employees can access medical, vision, and dental insurance, along with voluntary short-term disability and cancer income protection. Flexible spending accounts for health care and dependent care, a 401(k) plan with company match, and various leave programs enhance the rewards of working with the company. Additional perks include free meals during shifts, associate discounts, referral bonuses, and the chance to engage in community giving. The employer prides itself on fostering a respectful workplace that values diversity and inclusivity, complying fully with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and offering accommodations to ensure equal opportunity for all applicants and employees.
