Job Requirements
- Experience working in food preparation in a busy environment
- Ability to follow detailed instructions with minimal supervision
- Capable of working Sundays
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Commitment to quality and care in food preparation
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a busy kitchen or food preparation area
- Ability to follow health and safety standards
- Experience in restaurant, catering, hospital, hospitality or healthcare food services is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions
- Proven ability to adhere to rules, policies and sanitary standards
Job Duties
- Help prepare food for meal service including chopping, measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes
- Ensure all procedures adhere to health department and company regulations
- Check food temperatures prior to serving meals
- Garnish plates before they leave the kitchen
- Assist with other kitchen functions such as dishwashing, utilities, line cook and prep cook duties
- Follow instructions from the Director of Food Service or Sous Chef
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards
