Job Requirements
- 19 years or older
- Food handling card or certification through an approved organization
- Ability to apply proper food handling knowledge
- Able to lift and move 50 pounds
- Able to sustain long hours on feet
- Reliable transportation to scheduled shifts and locations
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and team members
- Professional in following directives during busy times
- Solution-orientated attitude
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in a high volume or catering kitchen environment
- Experienced with volume prep and recipe execution
- Skilled in advanced knife techniques
- Broad-based knowledge of cooking techniques, styles, and global cuisines
- Ability to follow directives and instructions promptly during busy times
- Excellent multi-tasking, organization, and time management skills
- Outgoing and high energy personality
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with peers and managers
Job Duties
- Execute prep items and recipes according to directions and specs
- Apply safe food handling and sanitation practices when preparing, handling or storing consumable items
- Organize and pack cambros and carts by event so they can be loaded and delivered
- Help put orders away
- Prep items on prep list or other items as directed by chefs and lead cooks
- Assist with dishes when a dishwasher is not on shift or needs help during high volume times
