Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation regulations
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and production schedules accurately
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Job Duties
- Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the chef
- Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
- Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control
- Taste completed meals to ensure quality
- Store, label, and date all food items according to policy
- Follow HACCP guidelines
- Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs as required
- Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures
- Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use
- Perform other duties as assigned
