Job Description

Chili's is a well-established casual dining restaurant that originated in Dallas, Texas, in 1975. Over the years, it has become a beloved destination for those craving hearty, American-style meals such as Big Mouth burgers, house smoked ribs, full-on fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas. The company prides itself on its legacy of exceptional service, hospitality, and community involvement, making it a staple in the casual dining industry. At Chili's, both guests and team members experience a culture rooted in warmth and a commitment to high-quality dining experiences.

The role we are offering is within our Kitchen team, also affectionately known as the Heart of House at Chili's. This position is crucial because our Kitchen team members are responsible for setting the pace of each shift, ensuring that service is dependable, fast, and always reflective of Chili's standards. If you enjoy working in a team-oriented environment and take pride in consistently delivering great service, this could be the perfect job for you.

As a Kitchen team member, you will be involved in preparing a wide variety of foods using different preparation methods and will be expected to execute all recipe procedures properly. Attention to safety and sanitation policies is paramount, as we prioritize our guests' and team members' well-being. The role also involves completing assigned prep work to stock and set up stations to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. Moreover, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment is an essential part of your daily responsibilities since teamwork and mutual respect help maintain the friendly atmosphere Chili's is known for.

This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and who can think and act quickly without sacrificing quality. Having prior experience in food and beverage service and preparation is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. It is important that candidates have the ability to use various kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, grinders, and food processors safely and effectively.

Chili's offers flexible employment options, including part-time and full-time schedules, making it easier for team members to find a work-life balance that suits their needs. The hiring process is designed to be fast and straightforward, ensuring that new team members can join and begin their journey with us without unnecessary delays. Additionally, Chili's provides growth opportunities for those who aspire to advance within the company, nurturing talent and dedication.

Our benefits package is comprehensive and includes health, dental, and life insurance options, reflecting our commitment to supporting the well-being of our team members both inside and outside of work. We believe in fostering a positive team atmosphere and culture, where every shift is a chance to excel and contribute. If you are enthusiastic about food preparation, teamwork, and delivering great service, Chili's Heart of House team would love to have you on board.

We are currently accepting applications on an ongoing basis until the position is filled, offering an hourly wage of $16.90 to $18.25 plus tips. Joining the Chili's Kitchen team means becoming part of a respected brand with a rich history and a vibrant future, where your work truly makes an impact every day.
