About the Role: The Cook 3 position at Four Seasons Nashville is a pivotal culinary role responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items with consistent quality and attention to detail. This full-time role involves working across various kitchen stations, including grill, saut, and cold line, ensuring all food is prepared according to guest orders and production standards. The Cook 3 will manage food temperatures, portions, and presentation while maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment. Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment such as fryers, broilers, stoves, ovens, and other appliances is essential. This role requires precise food preparation with an emphasis on inventory management, food rotation, minimizing waste, and supporting cost control practices. The Cook 3 will be expected to collaborate harmoniously with team members, upholding professional standards and contributing to an exceptional dining experience that reflects the Four Seasons' brand values.   • Minimum of five years culinary experience with advanced knowledge

  • Thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work in a team

Job Duties

  • Work all stations on the line including grill, saut, cold line
  • Prepare food items according to guest orders following recipe cards, production, portion, and presentation standards
  • Complete mis en place and set-up station for all meal services
  • Manage the temperature of meat and fish
  • Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill
  • Date all food containers and rotate per policies ensuring proper temperature control
  • Check inventory, determine preparation needs, and manage food waste and cost control
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
