Job Duties
- communicate with the head chef to request help during busy periods to ensure optimal service
- notify the manager if any product does not meet specifications
- check and ensure the correct temperature of appliances and food
- monitor the quantity of food prepared and the portions served
- ensure appropriate portion size, food arrangement, and decoration
- serve food in suitable portions and containers
- set up, clean, and divide workstations
- wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- prepare and cook food
- comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
- maintain cleanliness and professional appearance
- maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
- greet guests according to company standards
- communicate clearly and professionally with others
- cultivate positive working relationships and support the team to meet common goals
