Job Requirements
- 1-2 years of food service experience
- Ability to perform physical work including lifting up to 25 lbs
- Comfortable working in hot, humid, or cold environments
- Willingness to work full-time schedule
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Must be able to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude
- ServSafe certification required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year food service experience preferred
- ServSafe certification

Job Duties
- Prepare food such that all food is ready for use within the established timeframe
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and menus preserving freshness and quality
- Utilize safe food handling techniques at all times
- Store food items according to established standards with proper labeling and dating
- Hold prepared food at appropriate temperatures
- Maintain production records including food usage and customer counts
- Maintain logs for food and equipment temperatures
- Keep work area clean and sanitized
- Maintain a safe and well-organized work environment
- Communicate needs and concerns regarding food production to supervisor
- Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning
- Support other kitchen employees in essential functions
- Assist in ordering and inventory procedures
- Remove refuse as needed
- Put away and pull stock as needed
- Provide leadership and instruction if in a lead role
- Keep management apprised of overall operations
- Refer issues or concerns to higher management and perform other duties as assigned
