With a rich history of rescuing over 40,000 animals and counting, SeaWorld has established itself as a place where education, excitement, and entertainment converge to create lasting memories for visitors around the world. The company operates a collection of theme parks, including SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, and Aquatica, which offer thrilling rides, interactive animal exhibits, and engaging shows that inspire a connection to the natural world. SeaWorld is also a community-focused employer, committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming workplace where individuals can grow their careers while making a meaningful impact.

The Ambassador role at SeaWorld is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working individuals who want to be part of an incredible team. Ambassadors play an integral role in delivering high-quality food service that meets SeaWorld's exacting standards. This position involves preparing food with precision, following menu specifications closely, and adhering strictly to safety and HACCP guidelines to ensure the wellbeing of guests and staff alike. Ambassadors are responsible for maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation in their designated work areas, using protective gear and kitchen equipment safely and effectively. The role is dynamic and involves utilizing a wide range of kitchen appliances, from open flame char grills and smokers to steam kettles and woks, as well as large bakery machinery. This position demands a strong knowledge of allergens and special dietary meal preparation, ensuring that all guests receive safe and delicious food options.

The work environment is fast-paced and high-production, requiring ambassadorship skills such as multi-tasking, excellent communication with team members and guests, and a proactive approach to service. Ambassadors also have the opportunity to interact directly with the public, creating a welcoming atmosphere and educational experience that enhances the overall park visit. This employment opportunity offers a flexible schedule that can include varied shifts—opening, mid-day, closing, nights, weekends, and holidays—to accommodate business needs and career development pathways. Ambassadors can expect physically active work involving walking, standing, lifting, and manual tasks, which are integral to maintaining the vibrant and efficient operation of the food service locations.

SeaWorld supports its Ambassadors with various employee perks, such as free park admission, discounts on tickets, food and merchandise, scholarship opportunities, and exclusive events, fostering a spirited and enjoyable workplace culture. This position is not only a job but a meaningful way to contribute to a company that values conservation, community, and guest enjoyment. SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer, welcoming applicants from diverse backgrounds and committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
