The role of Prep Cook at Castle Pines Golf Club carries significant importance within the culinary operations of the club. This position is essential in supporting the high standard of food quality expected across all dining outlets, including the club’s restaurants, banquet services, special functions, and catering events. The Prep Cook will execute a variety of food preparations in alignment with the club’s specific recipes, ensuring every dish meets the exacting standards of taste, presentation, and safety. Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant, hotel, or private club restaurant kitchen
  • Able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel
  • Able to frequently reach, bend and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 8 hours

Job Duties

  • Prepares a variety of different meat, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using Castle Pines Golf Club recipes
  • Assists in all food prep operations for all food outlets of the club
  • Handles, stores and rotates all products properly
  • Completes required tasks within assigned time frames
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation including tables, shelves, grill, fryer, flat top, burners, sinks and refrigeration equipment
  • Complies consistently with club standards including portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures
  • Assists in cleaning assignments during off-peak periods as needed
