Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food preparation or kitchen work
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to follow safety and hygiene procedures
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
Job Qualifications
- experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- good knife skills and food preparation techniques
- strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- familiar with and practice all company standards related to position
- prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat
- undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food
- prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees
- maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces
- perform other related duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty
