Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk 100 percent of the time
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Ability to follow food safety standards
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- Ability to perform essential functions satisfactorily
- Knowledge of culinary techniques
- Familiarity with ServSafe and HAACP guidelines
- Experience in food preparation preferred
- Teamwork skills
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation
- Physical ability to stand and lift items as required
Job Duties
- Apply professional culinary techniques and procedures
- Cut, weigh, and prepare food items following company procedures and recipes
- Rotate refrigerated products and dry good products using FIFO method
- Maintain proper temperatures for all foods and equipment
- Wrap, label, date, and store food items properly
- Complete product cooling charts and daily production sheets
- Maintain personal hygiene and clean work environment
- Follow cleaning schedules and uniform dress code
- Adhere to Parkhurst Gold Standards and Smile Plus hospitality imperatives
- Assist fellow team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
