The role available is that of a Prep Cook, an essential position within the kitchen team of Outback Steakhouse. As a Prep Cook, you will be at the heart of food preparation and quality control, passionately preparing, portioning, and cooking various food items following established recipes and safety guidelines. This role requires commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards to ensure the highest quality of food items reaching the guests. The Prep Cook will be responsible for maintaining a clean and food-safe environment, assessing the freshness and quality of ingredients, and rotating products appropriately. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- Ability to adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to teamwork and customer service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a food preparation or kitchen role advantageous
