Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
- Ability to follow strict recipes and portion controls
- Excellent organizational skills

- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene standards

Job Duties
- Prepare all food products according to Metro Diner recipes using a variety of processes, equipment, and utensils
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations consistently
- Ensure refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage areas are organized and items are properly sealed, labeled, and dated
- Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
- Monitor inventory levels and notify Kitchen Manager of product shortages
- Correct any prepping errors in a professional manner
- Report equipment and food quality problems promptly
