Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, established in 2015. The company boasts a comprehensive platform that ranges from venue development to full-scale venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. OVG proudly manages seven world-class owned venues and serves a diverse client roster that includes iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. This makes Oak View Group a dynamic and innovative player in the entertainment and live event industry, committed to enhancing experiences for audiences and clients worldwide.

The Premium Runner role at Oak View Group is an essential position within the hospitality and service teams that support the live event environment. This role is primarily focused on the accurate and timely delivery of all orders and providing critical support to suites and frontline service associates. The Premium Runner acts as a key team player who ensures smooth operations during event days by maintaining the highest standards of service and responsiveness to guest needs. The position requires the individual to maintain excellent attendance and flexibility, as working an event-driven schedule often means working nights and weekends in accordance with business demands.

This part-time or full-time hourly position offers a wage range from $15.94 to $19.92 per hour and is eligible for tips as per the collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Employees benefit from union-negotiated provisions and other benefits as outlined in the agreement. The role remains open through August 7, 2026, emphasizing the company’s ongoing commitment to building a strong team for the venue’s operational calendar.

The Premium Runner supports the suites manager or suites supervisor on game days and during events by participating in pre-game huddles and collaborating closely with fellow associates. Responsibilities extend beyond just order delivery to include greeting guests and supporting a hospitable environment throughout the stadium. The role demands physical stamina and attention to detail, as handlers must verify and transport hot boxes, speed racks, and other service products from kitchens to designated locations while ensuring accuracy and swift follow-up on any delivery errors.

The Premium Runner also plays an important role in pantry management, assisting with inventory organization, cleanliness, and ensuring the serviceware is returned to the kitchen in an orderly manner. Opening and closing side work, break down of assigned locations, and thorough cleaning duties are integral parts of the daily task list.

Working at Oak View Group means being part of an inclusive and diverse environment that values each employee’s unique background and contributions. The company emphasizes the importance of teamwork, guest service excellence, and operational efficiency in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting. Candidates for this role should expect to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, sometimes in crowded or confined spaces. Physical capability is important as the job requires lifting, carrying, pulling heavy objects, and walking long distances while pushing or pulling carts, hot boxes, or speed racks.

Safety, professionalism, and guest satisfaction are top priorities, and the Premium Runner serves as a resource for guest questions, requests, or concerns, supporting a positive event-day experience for all attendees. The role also requires possession or the ability to obtain certifications such as a valid SNHD food handling card and alcohol awareness training.

Overall, the Premium Runner position at Oak View Group offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant live events industry with a company devoted to innovation, inclusivity, and excellence. This career path is well-suited for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy teamwork, and are committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences throughout the dynamic and rewarding events hosted at OVG venues.
