Job Description

Circuit of The Americas (COTA) is a premier 365-day entertainment destination located in Austin, Texas, renowned for hosting some of the most prestigious global sporting and entertainment events. As a multi-purpose venue, COTA boasts a diverse sports and entertainment portfolio that includes iconic racing events such as the Formula 1 US Grand Prix, NASCAR, and MotoGP. These championship events attract fans from around the world, who gather at COTA to witness exhilarating races on the famous Circuit track. Complementing the racing calendar, LiveNation, in partnership with COTA, produces over 30 headline concerts annually, held at the reputable Germania Insurance Amphitheater, adding to the dynamic entertainment experience. Together, these events make COTA a unique and vibrant hub for sports enthusiasts and music lovers alike, establishing it as an outstanding destination in the United States.

This part-time role offers an excellent opportunity to work in one of Austin’s most scenic and iconic venues, engaging with a wide range of guests during various high-profile events. Hospitality Bartenders at COTA play an integral role in delivering exceptional service, ensuring that guests enjoy premium beverage offerings with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Providing upscale and VIP-level service is a key aspect of the role, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued. Bartenders will also coordinate effectively with bar back personnel to maintain smooth service throughout the event, and their duties include meticulous cleaning of the bar area and proper storage of inventory post-event.

The position demands candidates who are hardworking, responsible, and capable of thriving in a dynamic event environment, often moving within indoor and outdoor settings across varied terrains. Proof of the Pudding values team players with excellent communication and customer service skills who are able to work both independently and collaboratively. Training is provided for certification requirements, and the company actively supports ongoing professional growth, making this an ideal role for those passionate about hospitality and entertainment service industries.

As a part-time hourly role, schedules will vary based on the event calendar, providing flexibility while also offering the chance to participate in world-renowned entertainment experiences. Employees benefit from on-the-job training applicable industry-wide, free meals during shifts, and opportunities for advancement as the company continually seeks to elevate its talented team members.
