The Premier Accounts Manager - Professional Events Services (PES) position is an essential role within the GreaterGiving team at Global Payments. This role is designed for a professional with strong event management and client relationship skills who is passionate about supporting fundraising efforts for nonprofit organizations. The Premier Accounts Manager will be responsible for planning and executing more than 200 fundraising events annually, ensuring flawless onsite software support and event operations. As a trusted client partner, the manager will maintain proactive communication with premier nonprofit clients to provide consultation and a high-touch service experience, helping to foster long-term relationships. Additionally, this position requires attendance at select live events to guide onsite coordinators and resolve any issues that arise in real time, guaranteeing smooth delivery and exceptional event outcomes. Collaboration is a core component of the role, requiring close partnership with cross-functional teams including customer success, sales, and product departments to align on client needs and deliver outstanding results. The role also entails comprehensive oversight of operational and administrative tasks such as scheduling, agreement management, invoicing, and accurate recordkeeping across internal systems.
The ideal candidate will bring experience working with nonprofit organizations, fundraising, or event management, paired with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with event technology or SaaS platforms is preferred, along with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability, especially during live event scenarios. While experience in nonprofit fundraising or development environments is a bonus, it is not mandatory. Job Duties
- Lead event planning and execution
- Coordinate and manage onsite software support services for 200+ fundraising events annually, ensuring operational excellence and successful event outcomes
- Serve as a trusted client partner, acting as the primary point of contact for premier nonprofit clients and providing proactive communication and consultation
- Support onsite event delivery by attending select events (minimum 6-10), guiding onsite coordinators, and troubleshooting issues in real time to ensure smooth execution
- Collaborate across teams including customer success, sales, product, and other internal departments to align on client needs and deliver exceptional results
- Manage operations and administration by overseeing scheduling, agreements, invoicing, and event documentation while maintaining accurate records across internal systems
