The role of Vault Manager at Brink's Global Services, based at the Grapevine facility, is a pivotal leadership position within the organization. Brink's Global Services specializes in secure transportation, storage, and handling of valuable goods across various industries including mining, precious metals, security, pharmaceuticals, and art. The Vault Manager will oversee the Precious Metals operation in Dallas, supervising the vault team to ensure operational excellence, employee development, and adherence to corporate safety standards. This role requires collaboration with the General Manager and the BGS Operations team to provide exceptional service to division and local customers while managing export, import, and domestic transportation activities related to the vault.

The Vault Manager role functions in an armed environment, necessitating strict enforcement of security rules to protect Brink's premises, assets, and personnel safety. Key responsibilities include leading the vault team through market transitions, managing inventory processes, enforcing vault procedures, staff scheduling, and driving employee productivity. The manager will be responsible for maintaining operational standards, conducting audits, managing key performance indicators, cost control, and enhancing customer relationships to ensure Brink's remains a top-tier service provider. The role also emphasizes risk reduction strategies to minimize security losses and workers' compensation claims. Job Requirements

  • minimum of three years supervising or managing a group of logistics professionals engaged in secured logistics activities
  • minimum of five years experience in logistics in a customer-facing or shipment processing role
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • minimum age of 21 years
  • valid firearms permit or ability to pass firearms licensing
  • valid guard card or ability to obtain required licenses
  • ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • experience working in a customer-focused environment

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of three years supervising or managing logistics professionals in secure logistics
  • minimum of five years experience in logistics or relevant customer-facing role
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • valid firearms permit or ability to obtain
  • valid guard card or ability to obtain
  • experience in precious metals storage preferred

Job Duties

  • support the general manager in providing leadership to organize market logistics and develop a product-driven organization
  • lead the vault team to adapt quickly to change and maintain security during transitions
  • manage day-to-day activities of the vault operational team
  • handle staffing and scheduling to meet daily operational needs
  • coach and provide leadership to supervisors and leads
  • ensure adherence to Brink's standards and procedures for vault operations
  • drive employee productivity and recommend improvements
  • coordinate audits of all inventory regularly
  • manage key performance indicators including labor, quality, and adherence to procedures
  • identify cost management improvements and enhance business margins
  • maintain excellent customer relationships
  • proactively reduce risk exposure and implement safety and security measures
