The company operates in various sectors, including online retail, logistics, technology development, and entertainment, with a commitment to delivering exceptional consumer experiences. Amazon promotes a culture of inclusion, customer obsession, and continuous improvement, providing opportunities for growth and development for its diverse workforce worldwide.
This opportunity is for a highly-organized, self-motivated, and high-judgment professional to join Amazon's dynamic team as a Project Manager focused on leading proactive consumer campaigns and cross-Amazon storytelling around seasonal shopping events. The role is crucial in managing and coordinating workflows in the United States with significant global collaboration, especially during the busiest consumer shopping periods, such as the Q4 Holiday season. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing communications with over 40 internal teams to reduce siloes and foster cross-functional collaboration that drives the success of Amazon's high-profile retail events.
Key responsibilities include developing detailed workback timelines, coordinating external communication inputs, managing relationships with external PR agencies, and analyzing industry trends to keep stakeholders well-informed. Candidates must excel at managing multiple projects and teams with sophistication and poise in a fast-paced environment. This role demands a self-starter with strong attention to detail and proven ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively. Amazon offers a competitive salary range depending on location, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Ideal candidates will bring over five years of professional communications or public relations experience, a strong record of managing complex projects, and a collaborative mindset that enables them to lead diverse global partners effectively. This role is perfect for someone passionate about optimizing workflows, facilitating communication across teams, and delivering exceptional event outcomes at one of the world's most respected companies.
