We are currently looking for a Clinical Specialist to join our team, offering an annual salary of $57,500. This role provides an exceptional opportunity for professionals eager to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. As a Clinical Specialist, you will work in various settings including residential, vocational, and in-home environments, delivering essential support to the individuals you serve.

Your primary responsibilities will involve ensuring that support plans and services adhere strictly to individualized plans, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. You will conduct comprehensive assessment interviews with parents or care providers, observe individuals in settings such as their homes, schools, or community locations, and meticulously review social histories and functional assessments. Based on your evaluations, you will develop and submit detailed summaries and recommended behavior support plans to interdisciplinary teams or operational leaders. Advocating for the human and civil rights of those receiving services is a cornerstone of this position, requiring participation in review committees and thorough documentation of progress and activities.

Maintaining confidentiality and fostering professional, respectful relationships with individuals, their families, guardians, and case managers is paramount. Your role includes supporting and training staff in implementing personalized support plans, conducting orientations and classes, and assisting individuals with socialization, behavioral development, personal care, and other daily living activities. Additionally, you may accompany individuals to medical appointments, administer medications and treatments, monitor health concerns, and provide safe transportation when necessary.
