SpaceX is currently seeking a Temporary Porter to join their team at the Bastrop, Texas location. This temporary position spans three months, with the possibility of permanent hire conversion based on performance and business needs. The Porter will play a critical role in supporting the restaurant operations within SpaceX’s private dining facilities. This role involves maintaining smooth logistics, assisting kitchen and culinary teams, and ensuring a clean and well-stocked environment in line with operational standards.

The Porter’s responsibilities are diverse and essential for the daily function of the dining services, including managing the reception and distribution of supplies, conducting equipment checks, assisting with inventory control, and operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts after proper training. This position requires excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with culinary, café, and facilities teams, ensuring that all requirements are met promptly and accurately.

Given the nature of the job, physical fitness is important, with duties involving lifting items up to 45 lbs, prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and carrying heavy objects unassisted. The candidate must be flexible and available to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and potential overtime hours as business needs dictate.
