Job Description

PBR Cary is North Carolina's most captivating country bar, inspired by the gritty spirit of the toughest sport on dirt, Professional Bull Riding (PBR). Located in the vibrant city of Cary, this establishment invites guests to immerse themselves in a uniquely authentic country experience, complete with line dancing, cold beer, hard drinks, and a little bull riding excitement. PBR Cary is more than just a bar; it is a celebration of the cowboy and cowgirl spirit, combining the energy of live entertainment with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This venue is renowned for delivering a high-energy, authentic country lifestyle and social destination for both locals and visitors alike.

The team at PBR Cary is known for its dedication to providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment for all patrons. To support this mission, PBR Cary seeks a diligent Porter to join their team. The Porter role is essential in upholding the bar's cleanliness standards and ensuring that all facilities, especially high-traffic areas like restrooms and public spaces, are presentable and well maintained. This position is perfect for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy teamwork, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Porter at PBR Cary will be responsible for a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, scrubbing, mopping floors, dusting furniture and fixtures, emptying trash containers, cleaning and stocking restrooms, wiping down glass surfaces, and maintaining cleaning equipment. This role requires someone who can work efficiently, follow directions from supervisors and managers, and contribute to the overall guest experience by providing an immaculate setting.

Working hours for the Porter may include nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the bar's active schedule. While experience in the porter or janitorial field is beneficial, it is not mandatory, making this a great opportunity for motivated candidates seeking entry into the hospitality or service industry. The ideal candidate will be courteous and pleasant to all guests, capable of working well within a team, and able to communicate effectively in English is a plus. Physical requirements include the ability to lift or carry items up to 40 pounds frequently, stand and move about for long periods, and engage in repetitive motions such as bending, stooping, and kneeling. Previous job references and a good record of dependability will greatly support the candidate's application. PBR Cary prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds and committed to compliance with federal employment laws. Join this dynamic team and help bring out the true cowboy or cowgirl spirit in everyone who walks through PBR Cary's doors.
