The role of Porter at Harvard Maintenance is an integral position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and upkeep of public and operational spaces within commercial buildings. Strong communication skills and the ability to conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups at all professional levels are essential. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and have the physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, sitting, stooping, or kneeling. The position typically operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 am to 4:30 pm, with a competitive hourly wage of $20.00.
