Key responsibilities include performing diverse cleaning and maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, shampooing carpets, dusting, polishing, disposing of trash, replacing light bulbs, and cleaning windows. The Head Porter-Housekeeper must ensure the proper use of cleaning solutions following OSHA guidelines for handling hazardous chemicals, maintain sanitary conditions, and manage supplies effectively. Maintaining communication with the supervisor by reporting any discrepancies, needed supplies, or safety concerns is a critical part of the role.

In addition to supervisory duties, the individual will ensure security procedures are upheld and that all safety precautions are followed during work.
