Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of porter experience
- Ability to work full time with variable days and shifts
- Commitment to safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to wear company provided uniform and follow dress code
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum two years of porter experience required
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards including HACCP
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use proper protective equipment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of front of house including tables, counters, floors, windows and beverage station
- Ensures tables are bussed, cleared and cleaned and floors are swept during peak service and prepped prior to service
- Follows safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils using trays, bus tubs or carts
- Washes dishes, glasses and pots and cleans cooking stations and equipment while maintaining sanitation standards
- Scrapes and rinses food from dishes and loads dishwashing machines or washes by hand
- Keeps display equipment clean and compliant with safety and sanitation standards
- Helps receive heavy deliveries and transports them to storage areas observing safe lifting standards
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- Adheres to all company safety policies including use of protective gloves and footwear
- Performs other assigned duties as needed
